This was the moment I knew something had to change. As a cat, I seldom looked at myself (weird, I know). Sure I knew I had been gaining weight. Bath time had become more of a chore, and jumping up on the couch was nearly impossible. And then I saw this picture. I realized then that the cat I had become was a cat I never expected to be.
When I was a kitten, I loved to explore, I loved to snuggle, and I loved to play. I was full of love... and I still am! But I also really loved food. And I still do. Perhaps my problem is, I simply love too much (especially chicken).
When I look at this picture of myself, I realize that even though I don't want to be one of those rail-thin cats in a sink, I also don't want to be the butt of a joke.
So, it's time for this cat to lose weight. I just need to figure out how.
